Our Mission

At St. Macarius Tampa, we are dedicated to sharing the love of Christ with our community. Our mission is to connect people to the fullness in Jesus Christ, through spiritual growth, support, and fellowship for all who seek a deeper relationship with Him. 

Whether you have a home church or are "church shopping"; You're Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox, Coptic-American, or are new to the faith; if you know Jesus or are looking for something more. We can help you find your home. We are a caring, loving, and welcoming church following the ancient faith of the traditional Coptic Orthodox Church, with services in English. Come and Visit, We'd love to have you.

Church Season

Apostles' Fast

After Pentecost (the descent of the Holy Spirit on the apostles), the church encourages us to be mission focused as followers of Christ through the Apostles Fast.
The fast is from June 9th to July 12th. Learn more about this fast here.​

Need a little motivation? For the final stretch of the Apostles Fast, let us grow together through this Bible plan. This 12 day plan begins Monday, June 30th.

SERVICES ARE ALL ENGLISH

HOLY EUCHARIST (Communion): In order to partake of the Holy Communion, a Parishioner must be baptized in the Coptic Orthodox Church or one of the Oriental Orthodox Churches.

Vespers and Midnight Praises: 8pm - 10pm

Saturday 

Liturgy: 8:30am - 11:30am

Fellowship & Agape Meal : 11:30am - 12pm

Sunday School for Children: 12pm - 1pm

Upper Room Meeting for Adults: 12pm - 1pm
