Our Mission

At St. Macarius Tampa, we are dedicated to sharing the love of Christ with our community. Our mission is to connect people to the fullness in Jesus Christ, through spiritual growth, support, and fellowship for all who seek a deeper relationship with Him. 

Whether you have a home church or are "church shopping"; You're Orthodox, Coptic Orthodox, Coptic-American, or are new to the faith; if you know Jesus or are looking for something more. We can help you find your home. We are a caring, loving, and welcoming church following the ancient faith of the traditional Coptic Orthodox Church, with services in English. Come and Visit, We'd love to have you.

For 2,000 years, followers of Jesus celebrated the Liturgy and we continue the same service that Jesus gave His disciples until today. Our service begins with Vespers on Friday evening at 8:00pm followed by Saturday service the next day beginning at 8am.

We love our parishioners, so feel free to visit every FRIDAY and SATURDAY.  

SERVICES ARE ALL ENGLISH

HOLY EUCHARIST (Communion): In order to partake of the Holy Communion, a Parishioner must be baptized in the Coptic Orthodox Church or one of the Oriental Orthodox Churches.

Vespers and Midnight Praises: 8pm - 10pm

Saturday 

Liturgy: 8:30am - 11:30am

Fellowship & Agape Meal : 11:30am - 12pm

Sunday School for Children: 12pm - 1pm

Upper Room Meeting for Adults: 12pm - 1pm
